Rothesay is a charming seaside town on the Isle of Bute, located a short ferry ride (20 minutes) from the Scottish mainland.
Our Hotel for the weekend is the Glenburn Hotel, which has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment to bring the victorian interiors and facilities up to a modern standard, without sacrificing the original ‘feel’ of the hotel. From it’s elevated position the hotel enjoys uninterrupted views across the bay. Guests can enjoy a coffee, a drink or a light snack on the full length balcony as they take in the view
Inside you will find a welcoming interior, lots of original wood panelling, a lift to all floors and two cosy lounges with comfortable seating. All the en-suite bedrooms have been refurbished and are comfortable and tastefully decorated. The ballroom is located on the first floor
